Duck Foie Gras with Sauternes

A delicious recipe for foie gras from the PGI South West. This product has been cooked for over 60 years in Figeac in the heart of the Lot region ( France), using traditional methods and always with the same rigour and attention to detail. For this recipe, the combination of whole foie gras and Sauternes develops incomparable flavours, a fruity taste and a melting texture. Tasting advice: a few minutes before serving, remove the foie gras from the refrigerator. Cut slices of about 1cm with a foie gras knife or a thin-bladed knife, previously soaked in hot water. Serve chilled and it goes wonderfully well with slightly sweet dishes such as chutney or sweet wines.

Store at room temperature. As a precaution , however, it is recommended to keep certain products away from heat and humidity (see recommendations on the package).
