1) Introduction and definition of terms
1.1) This web site is owned and operated by Le Petit Depot Pte. Ltd. (« we », « us », « our » or the « company »), a Singapore registered company under the n°201229261K.
1.2) You are the customer. By submitting an order on this web site, you agree to the Terms and Conditions that appear below.
1.3) « Goods » are the goods ordered by the customer using lepetitdepot.com web site.
1.4) « Price » means the total price of goods. We are a GST registered Company, and as such the GST is included in the price of our products. Our displayed prices are net prices (delivery price, please see 3.5)).
1.5) « Website » means lepetitdepot.com website.
1.6) These Terms and Conditions will apply to any purchase made on lepetitdepot.com web site.
1.7) We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time and we recommend that you check prior to each order to ensure that you agree with them at the date of your order. If you place an order after we have published the changes on this web site you will be bound by those changes.
2.1) You must be 13 years old or over and must complete the registration procedure to order on our web site. No one below 13 is authorised to enter any personal information on this website; should we understand that any person below 13 has registered or ordered through this website we will immediately suppress any information related to this person. Please inform us should you happen to hear that a person below 13 has registered to our website.
2.2) You must supply us with your email address, your name and full address, your telephone and mobile phone number and any other information which would help our delivery subcontractor to locate you at the time of the delivery (about your personal details, see section 9).
2.3) You must notify us of any change in these information before placing an order on this web site.
2.4) On registration, you will be asked to choose a password. This password is confidential and you must keep it secure.
3) Prices and delivery charges
3.1) The price of the goods will be as quoted on the web site at the time you confirm your order with the « Acheter » button subject only to an inadvertent technical error for which we will not be liable.
3.2) If you duplicate an order, the prices will be updated at the time that your new order is confirmed.
3.3) Promotions are offered for a limited period of time. Prices on such goods may increase considerably when promotions are no longer being offered.
3.4) There is no minimum order quantity or amount.
3.5) As we calculate the selling prices of our products as close as possible to its real price, the delivery costs are not included in the products prices. An amount of SGD 8 will be charged for any order below or equal to SGD 100. We offer free delivery for any order above SGD 100.
4) Purchase contract
4.1) You agree to buy goods on this web site for your personal use only.
4.2) By ticking the « J’accepte les Conditions Générales de vente » button (at the bottom of the basket), you agree to place an order under these Terms and Conditions.
4.3) We will then confirm acceptance of your order by sending you an email to the email address you have provided to us.
5.1) Your order will be confirmed and valid once your payment is done. Payment must cover the cost of all goods ordered and any alternative goods delivered. The total amount you will have to pay will be shown on the invoice provided with your delivery and this amount prevails on any other including the one given on our website the day you ordered.
5.2) All payments are to be done through Paypal, either using your account or using credit cards.
5.3) There is no minimum order requirement.
6.1) We do deliver most of Singapore areas. Some areas are not covered by our delivery subcontractor. The list of areas not covered can be found by clicking here.
6.2) Delivery will be made to the address specified by you when you register on our website. It is your responsibility to make sure that your personal details are accurate. You must notify us if you move home so that we can deliver to the correct address. You can change the delivery address on the day of delivery, by calling by 10:30AM our office from Monday to Friday at 65705305 or by sending email to email@example.com and mentioning your order tracking number, which has been notified to you by email.In case of no show at the time the delivery is done, you can call the same number 65705305 at office hours from Monday to Friday or by sending email to firstname.lastname@example.org to arrange a new delivery date, within 3 calendar days.
6.3) Goods are subject to availability, particularly seasonal products. We cannot be held responsible if the goods you wish to purchase are not available.
6.4) We will always try to supply you with the full quantity that you have ordered. In the event that the goods delivered to you are incomplete or include incorrect goods, you must notify us promptly. In any event, our liability will be limited to the price of the goods incorrectly delivered.
6.5) It is your responsibility to ensure that an appropriate person is available at the delivery address at all times during the delivery slot. If you cannot attend the delivery, you must notify our delivery subcontractor before 10AM on the day of delivery, by phone at (65)65705305 and mentioning the tracking number of your order. At the time of delivery, you or someone on your behalf will be available to inspect the goods. If someone at the delivery address other than you signs for the goods, we are entitled to assume that person is authorised by you to do so.
6.6) If no one is at the address when the delivery is attempted and we have to rearrange a delivery, we will not be responsible for any loss or damage caused to the goods and we are entitled to charge you in full for an amount equal to the cost of perishable items contained in your order.
6.7) We will not be responsible for any loss or damage caused to the goods after the contract has been concluded.
6.8) We reserve the right to restrict deliveries in certain areas or to modify the delivery network.
6.9) All alcohol deliveries must be received by persons aged 18 or above. We reserve the right to request for a valid photo ID to verify that the recipient is above 18 years old.
7) Amendment of orders, returns and cancellation rights
7.1) You cannot amend or cancel your order once it has been paid.
7.2) If whilst inspecting the goods at the time of delivery, you identify faulty goods you may return them to the driver and you must notify us promptly by emailing at email@example.com.
7.3) We will credit your account with the same value than the goods you shall return to us, subject to returning them in their original packaging.
8) Warranties and liability
8.1) To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Le Petit Depot Ltd and its subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, employees, agents, partners, and licensors will not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (i) your access to or use of or inability to access or use our website lepetitdepot.com; (ii) any conduct or content of any third party on our website lepetitdepot.com, including without limitation, any defamatory, offensive or illegal conduct of other users or third parties; (iii) any content obtained from our website lepetitdepot.com; and (iv) unauthorized access. Use, or alteration of your transmissions or content, whether based on warranty, contract, tort (including negligence) or any other legal theory, whether or not Le Petit Depot Pte Ltd has been informed of the possibility of such damage, and even if a remedy set forth herein is found to have failed of its essential purpose.
8.2) Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or the exclusion or limitation of liability for consequential or incidental damages, so the limitations above may not apply to you.
8.3) Weather conditions or events outside of our reasonable control may result in the occasional late or cancelled delivery. If that is the case we will contact you as soon as we can in order to rearrange your delivery time and date. In any event our liability to you will be limited to the price of goods not delivered
9) Personal Data Collection
9.1) When you will register with us, we will ask you to provide us with some personal information:
- a) Your email address will be your registration name.
- b) Your name and full address will be used to identify and locate you at the time of the delivery.
- c) Your telephone number or mobile phone number can be used to give you information about your delivery slot, your order or your delivery.
9.2) We will keep record of these information so you don’t need to re-enter them every time you want to place an order on this web site. We will also keep record of your purchases on our website which means that if you want to order the same goods, you can use one of your previous orders and do not have to re-enter each good.
9.3) You will be able to see and amend the information you have provided to us at any time by visiting the "Mon Compte / My Account" link on this web site.
9.4) Cookies :
- a) A cookie is a small text file containing information which can be placed on your computer’s hard drive.
- d) If you prevent us from placing cookies on your computer, you will still be able to order unless you don›t register your details
- e) You will be able to visit our website without providing any personal information. However if you wish to order on line, you will have to register as mentioned in section 2.
- f) In any case, cookies will not store personal information about you.
9.5) In addition to paragraph 2.4, the password selected by you on registration is personal to you. You are responsible for keeping it secure. You must immediately notify us of any unauthorised use of your email address and/or password.
9.6) Any change to this policy will be posted here.
10) Refund Policy
10.1) Despite all our efforts to avoid such a situation, it could happen that the product you ordered is not available anymore at the time we prepare your parcel. Should this happen, we would contact you and you would have the choice between a product replacement, a voucher of the product’s value, or a full repayment of the product’s value.
10.2) If you find a mistake or a product missing upon reception of your order, and if you inform us within 7 (seven) days, you will have the choice between a product replacement, a voucher of the product’s value, or a full repayment of the product’s value.
11.1) If any of these Terms and Conditions is held by any court of competent authority to be unlawful, invalid or unenforceable, in whole or in part, this will not affect the validity of the remaining Terms and Conditions which will continue to be valid and enforceable to the fullest extent permitted by law.
11.2) These Terms and Conditions are governed by Singapore law and the parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Singapore courts in relation to any dispute which may arise between them.
11.3) We reserve the right to suspend this website without notice for repair, maintenance or other technical reasons.
